Little Pickles

Little Pickles has been running since April 2005 as one of the ways in which Wollaston Baptist Church works in and for the community. Our sessions run on Fridays, during the primary school term time - 1:30pm-3:00pm, and there is a suggested donation of 50p per family. We are now meeting in The Oasis (High Street, Wollaston) during the period of our building redevelopment work. We have toys, craft (this is organised by Heather and follows a theme for the day - sometimes this involves paints, so please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit messy), a baby area, a messy table (exploring different textures like cornflakes, spaghetti, play dough, etc.) , dressing-up clothes, a song time (letting the children choose their favourite songs) , a snack time (with healthy snacks as well as biscuits), with a much deserved cuppa for the adults. We run Little Pickles as a team effort - you will meet some or all of us - Fred, Heather, Jane, Marie, Michael, Ruth, Sandra, Sue. All of the team are committed Christians and are willing to chat with you or listen to you should you have anything you would like to discuss. Michael is also our Pastor at Wollaston Baptist Church and will be around most weeks. We welcome all people to Little Pickles, of any or no faith and we hope that you will enjoy coming along and that you and your child/ren will feel welcome and valued here.
