Prayer

We are a church that believes Prayer is essential.

 

  • “Prayer Together” usually on the 3rd Sunday evening (6pm) of every month. This presently is in the church, but will be in the Oasis rooms (High Street) as we begin our building redevelopment work.
  • Prayer within small groups every week - in various church member's homes.
  • The church buildings will open sometimes for quiet prayer (this will obviously cease for during the time that building redevelopment work occurs, but will start up again with the new buildings).
  • Prayer before Sunday Services, presently in the downstairs vestry (will be continuing when we begin to meet at the Village Hall on Sundays).
  • Prayer for the Primary School every fortnight on Tuesdays in a church member's home.
  • Prayer for the Secondary School on some Mondays - contact St. Mary's Church for details.
  • Prayer Time on Fridays (term time) 9-10am at church. (This will occur elsewhere during the building redevelopment work)
  • Prayer Meeting on Fridays 3pm in the downstairs vestry (This may occur elsewhere during the building redevelopment work)
  • Days of Prayer and Fasting & Prayer Walks
  • Prayer Circle for urgent and specific prayers
  • Prayer Diary to help us pray for one another regularly and for the needs around us.
  • Prayer for the persecuted church once a month - in a church member's home
